Greetings fellow happy campers and adventurers!
Those of you who know me personally know my obsession with all things camper van. Those who don’t – well, let’s just say that my husband and I spend a fair amount of time perusing the internets looking at campervans for sale with big dreams of owning one of our very own. And my instagram feed is filled with people making their van lives look awesome (and tastefully filtered, of course).
Until we can own one, what better way to check out the whole van-life thing than to rent?
As I researched the many van rental companies out there I realized that I was likely not the only person on the planet looking for this information, and it would be super helpful to have this collected in one place. There can be a lot of hidden fees, restrictions, etc. that might not be readily obvious at first glance. So, I decided to create a spreadsheet and share my little research project here. This is by no means an exhaustive list. The spreadsheet will update here as I add more companies, etc. I will probably modify this to be organized by geographical area at some point as well.

Adventure Sneaker 
We used Escape Campervans in April. Picked up in Vegas and returned in SanFran then flew home. Great experience ! We hope to use them again in the fall for a quick Death Valley trip. Our advice is to plan a quick trip to a general store right away. The knives are super dull and there weren't any garbage bags �� We ate a lot of fresh stuff but the refrigerator drawer was amazing !! Enjoy your trip and know there are people in St Louis very jealous !!

Thanks for putting all that information in one place to compare. I rented from Lost Campers out of San Francisco in Jan and got a good deal, would definitely rent from them again and loved no logos on the outside of the mini van.
